Job Summary
The Kitchen Helper assists the kitchen team in preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, organizing ingredients, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while following food safety and hygiene standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of food ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning.
Support the kitchen team in preparing menu items as instructed.
Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and cooking equipment.
Receive, store, and arrange raw materials properly.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) for stock usage.
Assist in stock counting and report shortages to the Kitchen In-Charge.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness at all times.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
Handle kitchen equipment carefully and report any damage or maintenance issues.
Support the team during peak business hours.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
