Roles & Responsibilties:

• A kitchen helper supports chefs by cleaning, prepping ingredients, and organizing, ensuring a sanitary, efficient kitchen.​

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and slice fruits and vegetables. Assist with simple cooking tasks and plate assembly.
  

• Cleaning and Sanitation: Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Sweep, mop, clean, and maintain a tidy work area.
  

• Stock Management: Unload, transport, and store food supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
  

• Operational Support: Remove trash and garbage, clean up spills, and assist in packing take-out orders.
  

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety regulations and safety guidelines, reporting hazards immediately.
  

Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.

• Skills: Basic knowledge of food prep, kitchen equipment usage, and safety sanitation practices.

• Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with kitchen staff.

• Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant or catering kitchen is often preferred, though not always required
