Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper assists kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This role supports food preparation, cleaning duties, and basic kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools

• Help with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies

• Dispose of garbage and maintain cleanliness standards

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations

• Support kitchen staff during busy service hours

• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Good physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting items)

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

• Basic understanding of food hygiene is a plus
