The Kitchen Helper supports the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness, preparing basic ingredients, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The role is essential in upholding hygiene standards and assisting chefs in day-to-day food preparation activities.
Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting vegetables, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment
Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools
Ensure proper storage of food items as per hygiene standards
Dispose of waste as per safety and sanitation guidelines
Receive and organize kitchen supplies and stock
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)
Support during busy service hours
Maintain discipline and follow kitchen SOPs
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations
