Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Indian Dessert Chef specializing in traditional milk-based sweets to join our kitchen team. The role involves preparing high-quality mithai with consistency, maintaining hygiene, and supporting bulk production.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of milk-based Indian sweets, including:
Malai Barfi, Kalakand
Rasgulla, Rasmalai, Cham Cham
Handle milk processing:
Boiling, reducing, curdling (chhena/paneer making)
Khoya/mawa preparation
Maintain taste consistency and quality across batches
Manage bulk production for daily operations and events
Ensure proper storage, shelf life, and freshness of sweets
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in kitchen
Train helpers/juniors in basic mithai preparation
Control wastage and raw material usage
Key Skills Required
Strong hands-on experience in traditional mithai making
Expertise in milk handling techniques (khoya, chhena, rabri)
Ability to manage large batch production
Knowledge of sweet texture, sugar consistency, and timing
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
Speed + consistency under pressure
