We are looking for a skilled Tandoor & Biryani Chef who specializes in preparing authentic tandoori dishes and flavorful biryanis. The candidate should have strong knowledge of spices, marination techniques, and traditional cooking methods to ensure high-quality taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of tandoori items such as kebabs, tikkas, naan, and roti
Cook different types of biryani (chicken, mutton, veg, etc.) with authentic taste
Handle tandoor operations efficiently and safely
Marinate meats and vegetables using proper techniques and recipes
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion sizes
Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are followed
Monitor stock levels and inform management for replenishment
Minimize wastage and ensure cost control
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tandoor or Biryani Chef
Strong knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques
Ability to handle high-volume kitchen operations
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Physically fit to work in a hot kitchen environment
