As a “Kitchen Helper” you will be working along with a dynamic team of culinary enthusiasts. Your major role will be to organize prepare and organize food items. The major job responsibilities involve: The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹12,000 - ₹15,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Assist in the Mise Planning according to recipes and specifications of the food items.
As a kitchen helper, you must have an understanding of FIFO, FEFO and MRD processes.
Receive and store deliveries, checking for accuracy in the quantity and quality of the product.
Organize store inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation method i.e. FIFO (first-in-first-out) and FEFO (first-expire-first-out).
Assisting the chefs and KST staff in carrying out equipment and deep cleaning processes as per the process laid out.
Cook food in a timely manner.
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
Check the freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 10th and 6 months - 1 years of experience. Familiarity with cooking techniques (advance & non-traditional), recipes, and sanitation regulations are ideal for the position. The role requires excellent time management and leadership skills. A culinary school diploma or certification in a similar field is a plus.
