Job Summary

Yummy Bee is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis III to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes while following company SOPs and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, chopping, cleaning, and portioning.

• Prepare food items according to standard recipes and instructions from senior chefs.

• Maintain proper mise en place before and during service.

• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Store ingredients correctly and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.

• Assist in inventory management and report stock shortages or wastage.

• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours.

• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or CDP.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience as a Commis III or in a similar kitchen role.

• Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
