Silk Road Coffee Company is a growing hospitality brand focused on quality coffee, food, and memorable guest experiences. We are looking for passionate and committed kitchen professionals to join our culinary team and contribute to maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and service.

We are hiring Commi 3 to support our kitchen operations. The position level will be decided based on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and ability to independently handle kitchen responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should be hardworking, disciplined, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen preparation and production as per operational requirements.

• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and plating.

• Ensure proper mise en place before service.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation.

• Properly store, label, and rotate food products following FIFO practices.

• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.

• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.

• Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.

• Coordinate effectively with senior chefs and other kitchen team members.

• Follow daily production plans and instructions from the Chef/Sous Chef.

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies when required.

• Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are used safely and maintained properly.

• Follow all company policies, SOPs, and food safety procedures.

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude within the kitchen team.

Commis 3 – Entry Level

• Assist senior kitchen staff with basic food preparation and mise en place.

• Handle basic cutting, washing, peeling, portioning, and preparation tasks.

• Learn and follow recipes, SOPs, and kitchen standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation.

• Support the team during preparation and service.

• Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Ideal Experience: 0–1 year in a kitchen/café/restaurant environment. Freshers with relevant culinary training may also apply.

Ideal Experience: 2–4+ years of relevant professional kitchen experience.

• Candidates with strong practical skills and the right attitude may also be considered irrespective of formal qualifications.
