• Assist in the preparation and production of South Indian dishes such as Idli, Vada, Dosa, Uttapam, Sambhar, Chutneys, and regional specialties.

• Ensure ingredients are prepared and available as per daily production requirements.

• Follow recipes, portion standards, and quality guidelines set by the organization.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen equipment.

• Assist senior chefs during food preparation and service operations.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items in accordance with food safety standards.

• Minimize food wastage and support inventory control activities.

• Follow all kitchen SOPs, food safety regulations, and company policies.

• Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in South Indian Cuisine or restaurant kitchen operations.

• Basic knowledge of South Indian food preparation techniques.

• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.

• Hotel Management qualification or relevant culinary training will be an added advantage.
