Job Title: Commi 1 – Pastry
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and other bakery products as per standard recipes.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Assist the Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Decorate cakes and desserts as required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about ingredient requirements.
Store ingredients and finished products properly following food safety standards.
Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow company SOPs and food safety guidelines.
Work effectively with the kitchen team to meet production schedules.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months of experience as a Commi 1 – Pastry or similar role.
Knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert production.
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Relevant culinary or hotel management qualification is preferred.
