Job Title: Commis I (Commi 1)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis I (Commi 1) to support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes as per standards, and maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety. The ideal candidate should have experience in a professional kitchen and a good understanding of food preparation techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and chef instructions.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of dishes.
Assist in mise en place and kitchen preparation activities.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Properly store and label food items.
Assist senior chefs during service hours.
Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
