Prepare continental dishes as per standard recipes and instructions from senior chefs
Assist in mise en place for daily kitchen operations
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP)
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
Assist in receiving, storing, and stock rotation of food items
Minimize food wastage and report shortages or quality issues
Support smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet service timelines
Good knowledge of continental cuisine (soups, sauces, grills, pastas, salads, etc.)
Basic knife skills and cooking techniques
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork and communication skills
Time management and attention to detail
