• Prepare continental dishes as per standard recipes and instructions from senior chefs

• Assist in mise en place for daily kitchen operations

• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP)

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas

• Assist in receiving, storing, and stock rotation of food items

• Minimize food wastage and report shortages or quality issues

• Support smooth kitchen operations during service hours

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet service timelines

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of continental cuisine (soups, sauces, grills, pastas, salads, etc.)

• Basic knife skills and cooking techniques

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Teamwork and communication skills

• Time management and attention to detail
