Prepare and cook tandoor items such as naan, roti, kulcha, kebabs, tikka, and other grilled dishes.
Marinate meats, seafood, and vegetables according to standard recipes.
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
Ensure food is prepared and presented to restaurant quality standards.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve consistent results.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the tandoor station and kitchen equipment.
Check food quality, freshness, and stock levels daily.
Assist in inventory control and report ingredient shortages.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely service.
Minimize food waste and control portion sizes.
Train junior kitchen staff on tandoor cooking techniques when required.
