Ensure proper taste, quality, presentation and portion control
Handle daily mise en place and kitchen operations
Guide and support Commis 2 and Commis 3
Assist Chef de Partie / Sous Chef during food preparation and service
Monitor ingredient quality and stock requirements
Control food wastage and maintain proper food storage
Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen SOPs

Commis 2

Prepare assigned dishes and food items as per standard recipes
Handle cutting, chopping, marination, cooking and basic preparation
Complete mise en place for the assigned section
Assist Commis 1 and senior chefs during service
Maintain consistency in taste, quality and portion size
Guide Commis 3 whenever required
Check ingredient availability and inform seniors about shortages
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation
Follow FIFO, food safety and kitchen SOPs

Commis 3

Assist with basic food preparation and mise en place
Wash, peel, cut and chop vegetables and other ingredients
Assist senior chefs during preparation and service
Follow chef instructions and standard recipes
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations and equipment
Store ingredients properly and follow FIFO practices
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours
Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards
Willingness to learn cooking techniques and kitc
