At SMOOR Chocolates, we craft experiences through premium chocolates, desserts, and gourmet cuisine. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Commis Chef to join our team at the SMOOR Lounge in Powai.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation and cooking as per SMOOR’s recipes and standards

Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (FSSAI compliance)

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control

Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations

Follow SOPs and kitchen processes strictly

Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients

Assist in stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory control

Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:

0 months to 2 years of experience as Commis / Kitchen Associate in café, lounge, or restaurant

Basic knowledge of continental / café-style cuisine preferred

Culinary diploma or hotel management qualification preferred

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays

Passion for food and willingness to learn
