We are looking for an experienced and skilled Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Chinese cuisine, including wok handling, soups, dim sums, noodles, sauces, and regional dishes. The chef will be responsible for maintaining authentic taste, consistency, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes including stir-fries, noodles, fried rice, soups, gravies, and appetizers.
Manage Wok section efficiently with speed and accuracy.
Create and maintain high-quality taste and presentation for all dishes.
Prepare sauces, stocks, marinades, and mise-en-place as per recipes.
Ensure freshness and quality of all ingredients.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Monitor food portioning, wastage control, and inventory.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.
Train and guide junior staff when required.
Maintain consistency in taste and quality across all shifts.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Chinese Chef or Commis in a reputed restaurant/hotel.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene & food safety standards.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends.
