We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to join our restaurant team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Chinese dishes, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while following hygiene and food safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Manage wok cooking, sauces, gravies, noodles, rice, and appetizers.
Monitor food preparation and maintain high-quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
Manage inventory, stock levels, and food wastage.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
Assist in menu planning and introducing new dishes when required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chinese Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or cloud kitchen.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
Experience in wok cooking and preparing a variety of Chinese dishes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
