We are looking for a skilled and dedicated South Indian Cook to prepare authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and food quality. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner items commonly served in South Indian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare South Indian breakfast items such as Idli, Dosa, Pongal, Upma, Poori, Vada, Appam, and Paniyaram.
Cook a variety of South Indian meals including Sambar, Rasam, Kootu, Poriyal, Kuzhambu, Kurma, Chutneys, and Rice varieties.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food.
Prepare ingredients by cutting, grinding, marinating, and seasoning as required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Monitor food stock and inform the Kitchen Manager of shortages.
Store raw materials and cooked food properly to minimize wastage.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow daily production schedules and ensure timely food preparation.
Work as a team with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
