Required Experienced Chef for Thela (Tandoor / Chicken)
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tandoor / Chicken Chef who specializes in preparing a variety of tandoori and grilled chicken dishes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining authentic taste, managing the tandoor section, ensuring food quality, and following hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
🔥 Food Preparation
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori and grilled chicken dishes such as Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Seekh Kebab, Chicken Malai Tikka, and other specialty items.
Marinate chicken and other ingredients using authentic spices and recipes.
Operate and manage the tandoor oven efficiently.
🔥 Quality Control
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards.
Check freshness and quality of raw ingredients.
🔥 Kitchen Operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section.
Ensure proper storage of meat, spices, and ingredients.
Monitor cooking time and temperature to ensure perfectly cooked dishes.
🔥 Inventory & Stock Management
Assist in monitoring stock levels of chicken, spices, and other ingredients.
Inform kitchen management about required supplies.
🔥 Food Safety
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper handling and storage of poultry products.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✔ Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef / Chicken Chef
✔ Strong knowledge of Indian tandoori cuisine and marinades
✔ Ability to operate tandoor oven and grilling equipment
✔ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
✔ Good teamwork and communication skills
Experience Requirement
2–5 years experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food outlet specializing in tandoori or grilled chicken dishes.
Working Conditions
Work in a high-temperature kitchen environment (tandoor section).
Ability to stand for long hours and handle kitchen equipment safely.
Preferred Skills
