Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Personal Chef who can prepare a variety of high-quality, hygienic, and delicious meals for a family. The ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of relevant experience and be comfortable preparing multiple cuisines, particularly Indian regional cuisines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, hygienic, and nutritious meals on a daily basis.

• Cook a variety of cuisines according to the family's preferences and requirements.

• Have strong knowledge of North Indian and South Indian cuisines.

• Prepare a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

• Plan daily/weekly menus based on dietary preferences and requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking area.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.

• Manage kitchen ingredients and inform the family when supplies need to be replenished.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Be flexible with menu changes and special meal requirements.

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Personal Chef, Private Chef, Household Chef, or similar role.

• Excellent cooking skills with knowledge of multiple cuisines.

• Strong expertise in North Indian and South Indian cuisine.

• Knowledge of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking.

• Ability to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and other meals as required.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.

• Ability to follow recipes as well as create dishes independently.

• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and well-mannered.

• Ability to understand and accommodate the family's food preferences.

Preferred

• Experience working as a Personal/Private/Household Chef for a family.

• Knowledge of additional cuisines such as Chinese, Continental, Mughlai, Gujarati, Punjabi, Rajasthani, etc.

• Knowledge of healthy, low-oil, low-spice, or diet-specific cooking would be an advantage.

• Comfortable with Travelling..

• References from previous employers will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should be experienced, responsible, hygienic, flexible, and passionate about cooking, with the ability to prepare different cuisines and adapt meals according to the family's preferences.
