We are looking for a creative and organized Catering Chef to lead our culinary operations. You will be responsible for planning and executing menus for a variety of events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties across Bhubaneswar and surrounding areas.
Menu Engineering: Design diverse menus featuring authentic Odia cuisine (Dalma, Macha Ghanta, Pakhala variations) alongside popular North Indian, Tandoor, and Continental dishes.
Event Execution: Oversee food preparation and "live station" setups at event venues, ensuring consistent taste and high-quality presentation.
Supply Management: Source fresh, local ingredients from markets, maintaining relationships with local vendors to ensure zero-waste and sustainable practices.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of Commis chefs and kitchen helpers, ensuring peak performance during high-pressure wedding seasons.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict FSSAI standards and kitchen cleanliness. Ensure all staff follow proper food handling and COVID-era safety protocols (which remain industry standard).
Cost Control: Monitor food portions and kitchen inventory to minimize waste and maintain profitability.
