All-Rounder Chef – Indian | Chinese | Tandoor
We are looking for an experienced All-Rounder Chef skilled in Indian, Chinese & Tandoor cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling kitchen operations and preparing high-quality food efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality Indian, Chinese & Tandoor dishes as per recipes and standards.
Independently manage cooking operations during busy hours.
Handle food orders efficiently for 100–200 guests as required.
Ensure proper food quality, taste, freshness and presentation.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
Set up and manage cooking equipment, utensils and ingredients.
Supervise and guide kitchen assistants/cooks when required.
Check ingredient freshness and minimize food wastage.
Manage timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
Adapt dishes to customer requirements where necessary.
Job Requirements
Experience: 8–10 years in a professional kitchen.
Strong expertise in Indian, Chinese & Tandoor cuisine.
Ability to handle high-volume orders of 100–200 guests.
Good knowledge of cooking techniques, recipes, hygiene and sanitation.
Strong time management and kitchen leadership skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Culinary certification/diploma will be an added advantage.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in restaurants, hotels, catering or high-volume kitchens.
