We are looking for a skilled and disciplined Cook to prepare healthy vegetarian meals including bowls, wraps, millet dishes, and Indian comfort food.
The cook will be responsible for taste consistency, hygiene, portion control, and timely order execution.
🍲 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare healthy vegetarian dishes as per standard recipes
Cook with low oil, no artificial colors, no MSG
Handle daily cooking of:
Millet & rice bowls
Dal / khichdi
Paneer & tofu dishes
Wraps & light curries
Ensure consistent taste and portion size
🔹 Prep & Kitchen Operations
Oversee daily prep of grains, vegetables, sauces
Coordinate with helper for chopping & cleaning
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) method
Maintain food temperature and freshness
🔹 Hygiene & Safety (Very Important)
Follow FSSAI hygiene standards
Wear apron, cap, gloves as required
Maintain clean work station
Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned after use
Report spoilage or wastage immediately
🔹 Order Handling
Prepare food as per order tickets (Swiggy/Zomato)
Ensure timely handover to packing staff
Minimize order delays and errors
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
2–5 years experience as a cook (restaurant/cloud kitchen/home-style kitchen)
Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cooking
Basic understanding of healthy cooking methods
Ability to work in a small kitchen with speed & discipline
Calm under pressure during peak hours
🎓 EDUCATION
No formal education required
Culinary training is a plus (not mandatory)

SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)
Meal provided during shift
Performance-based increment after 3 months
