We are looking for a Cook to join our restaurant team for preparing authentic Bengali cuisine with excellent taste and consistency. The candidate should be responsible, disciplined, and capable of maintaining food quality and kitchen standards efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare authentic Bengali vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Cook a variety of Bengali veg preparations as much as possible.
Prepare Bengali-style fish items along with chicken and mutton dishes.
Maintain taste, quality, and consistency in food preparation.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
Manage kitchen responsibilities responsibly and coordinate with staff when required.
Monitor and restock cooking ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Job Requirements: Candidates should have experience in Bengali cooking and should be confident in preparing both veg and non-veg Bengali dishes. Expertise in Bengali fish preparations and chicken/mutton items is highly preferred.
The candidate should be:
Good with taste and presentation of food.
Stable, responsible, and sincere with work responsibilities.
Able to work efficiently in a restaurant kitchen environment.
Knowledgeable about kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
Language skills in Bengali, Hindi, or Odia will be an added advantage.
