Job Overview:

As a Barista, you will be the heart and soul of our café, crafting delicious coffee beverages while delivering top-notch customer service. You will ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a perfectly brewed cup in hand. Your role goes beyond making coffee — you will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, maintain product quality, and support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Crafting Exceptional Coffee:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages according to brand standards.

• Ensure consistency and quality in every cup, from espresso shots to latte art.

• Stay updated on brewing techniques, coffee trends, and new product offerings.

2.Delivering Outstanding Customer Service:

• Greet every customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude.

• Provide product recommendations and share coffee knowledge confidently.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.

3. Maintaining Café Operations:

• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and fully stocked.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures for smooth shift transitions.

• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain hygiene standards.

4. Supporting Team Success:

• Collaborate with the Shift Manager and team members to ensure efficient café operations.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and step in wherever needed.

• Support training of new team members by sharing skills and knowledge.

5. Managing Inventory & Supplies:

• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.

• Minimize waste by following proper portion control and operational best practices.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a coffee shop or café is preferred but not mandatory — training will be provided to the right candidate.

• Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for customer interaction.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic understanding of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
