Job Title: Barista

Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation: Crafting high-quality coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos) following recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

• Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operating grinders and espresso machines; performing daily maintenance and troubleshooting, such as calibrating for proper extraction.

• Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintaining a spotless workspace, including sanitizing counters, cleaning equipment, and cleaning the seating area.

• Stock Management: Replenishing coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastry displays, and monitoring inventory levels.

• Cash Handling: Processing payments accurately using a POS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of experience as a barista or in a similar café role preferred.

• Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and latte art.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
