The Commis III – Bakery (Baklava Section) is responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of baklava and other Middle Eastern desserts. The role involves following standard recipes, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring consistent product quality as per company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of baklava and related bakery items as per standard recipes.
Prepare ingredients including nuts, syrups, butter, and phyllo sheets.
Ensure proper layering, baking, portioning, and finishing of baklava products.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section as per FSSAI guidelines.
Support senior chefs in daily production planning and execution.
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished goods.
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) method for inventory control.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
Minimize wastage and maintain cost control standards.
Assist in packaging and labeling for retail/display requirements.
