Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Confectionery Chef to prepare high-quality cakes, pastries, chocolates, desserts, and other confectionery products. The ideal candidate should have experience in baking, decorating, maintaining product consistency, and ensuring food safety standards. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Indeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, cookies, breads, chocolates, and other confectionery items.

• Decorate cakes and desserts according to company standards and customer requirements.

• Develop new recipes and improve existing products.

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Monitor inventory and maintain stock levels of ingredients.

• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely.

• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.

• Minimize wastage and maintain cost-effective production.

• Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.

• Ensure timely production to meet daily sales and customer orders. Indeed
  

Eligibility

• Diploma/Certificate in Bakery, Pastry, or Culinary Arts preferred.

• 2–5 years of experience as a Confectionery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker.

• Knowledge of cake decoration, chocolate work, and dessert preparation.

• Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment.

• Strong creativity and attention to detail.

• Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
