Role Overview

We are looking for a Short-Form Content Strategist & Scriptwriter who understands what makes content perform, why people stop scrolling, and how to turn insights into engaging, high-performing short-form videos.

This role is ideal for someone who is obsessed with content psychology, virality, storytelling, audience behavior, and organic growth — not just someone who manages social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative content strategies for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other short-form platforms.

• Research viral trends, formats, hooks, storytelling patterns, and audience behavior.

• Write engaging and conversion-focused short-form video scripts.

• Create strong hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.

• Analyze content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Study competitor and creator content to identify winning patterns.

• Turn complex ideas into simple, relatable, and highly engaging content.

• Collaborate with content creators, editors, and social media teams.

• Continuously test new content angles, formats, hooks, and storytelling techniques.

• Use analytics and insights to improve content performance and organic reach.

Required Skills

• Strong short-form scriptwriting skills

• Excellent understanding of Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts

• Strong knowledge of hooks, storytelling, retention, and audience psychology

• Trend research and content analysis

• Creative thinking and idea generation

• Understanding of organic social media growth

• Strong communication and writing skills

• Ability to write in a conversational and engaging style

• Data-driven approach to content creation

• Ability to identify why a piece of content works — or fails

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with creators, personal brands, agencies, or startups

• Knowledge of social media analytics

• Experience creating viral or high-performing short-form content

• Basic understanding of video editing/content production

• Familiarity with current social media trends and formats

Experience

0–3+ years of relevant experience in content strategy, scriptwriting, social media, creator marketing, or a related field.

Freshers with a strong portfolio and excellent understanding of short-form content may also be considered.
