Job Title: Parking Cashier

Job Summary:

The Parking Cashier is responsible for collecting parking fees, issuing receipts, and ensuring smooth cash handling operations at the parking facility while providing courteous service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect parking charges from customers as per applicable rates

• Issue receipts/tickets and maintain accurate transaction records

• Operate parking management systems, POS machines, or manual registers

• Handle cash, UPI, and card payments efficiently

• Ensure proper cash tally at the beginning and end of each shift

• Report any discrepancies in cash or system immediately to the supervisor

• Assist customers with parking-related queries and provide guidance

• Coordinate with parking attendants/wardens for smooth vehicle flow

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the cashier booth

• Follow company SOPs, safety, and compliance guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of cash handling and billing systems

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Basic computer knowledge (POS/Excel preferred)

• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented

• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays

Qualification:

• Minimum 10th / 12th pass

• Prior experience in cashiering or parking operations preferred
