Job Description: Cashier at DMart

Job Title: Cashier / Billing Executive Company: DMart Department: Store Operations / Billing Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and provide good customer service.

• Scan products and generate bills using the POS (Point of Sale) billing system.

• Accept payments through cash, debit/credit cards, UPI, and other approved payment methods.

• Handle cash accurately and provide the correct change to customers.

• Check prices, discounts, and offers while billing products.

• Issue receipts and handle billing-related customer queries.

• Maintain an accurate cash balance and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Keep the billing counter clean and organized.

• Coordinate with other store staff to ensure smooth checkout operations.

• Follow company policies, security procedures, and customer service standards.

• Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10th or 12th pass (depending on company requirements).

  • Basic mathematics and numerical skills.

  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn billing software.

  • Honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
