Job Title: Post Forming Carpenter

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Post Forming Carpenter experienced in fabrication and installation of laminated furniture, countertops, panels, and other post-forming products. The candidate should be able to work accurately with laminate, MDF, plywood, particle board, and related materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform post-forming work on countertops, worktops, panels, cabinets, and furniture.

• Cut, shape, bend, and finish laminate materials as per measurements and drawings.

• Operate carpentry and post-forming tools and machinery safely.

• Prepare and assemble plywood, MDF, particle board, and laminate components.

• Ensure proper bonding, edge finishing, joints, alignment, and dimensions.

• Read and understand drawings, measurements, and fabrication requirements.

• Carry out cutting, routing, trimming, polishing, and finishing work.

• Inspect finished products for quality and correct any defects.

• Minimize material wastage during fabrication.

• Maintain tools, machinery, and the work area in good condition.

• Coordinate with supervisors and other production team members to complete work on schedule.

• Follow company quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in post forming, modular furniture, interior carpentry, or laminate fabrication.

• Good knowledge of plywood, MDF, laminates, adhesives, and finishing materials.

• Experience using routers, cutters, drills, trimmers, and other carpentry tools.

• Ability to take accurate measurements and maintain quality finishing.

• Good attention to detail and workmanship.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
