The Service Manager will be responsible for managing all HVAC service operations, maintenance
activities, AMC contracts, breakdown services, team management, customer satisfaction, and timely execution of
service jobs. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and client coordination abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Operations Management
Handle daily HVAC service activities including preventive maintenance and breakdown calls.
Ensure timely closure of complaints and service requests.
Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and service schedules.
Monitor service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Team Management
Supervise service engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Allocate manpower as per site requirements.
Conduct team training for technical and safety standards.
Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline of service team.
3. Customer Coordination
Coordinate with clients for service schedules, complaints, and feedback.
Maintain strong customer relationships.
Resolve escalations and critical complaints professionally.
4. Technical Responsibilities
Diagnose HVAC system issues and provide solutions.
Guide team on repair, installation, and maintenance activities.
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare service reports, PM reports, call logs, and monthly MIS.
Track pending complaints and closure status.
Maintain records of service contracts, warranties, and spare inventory.
6. Commercial Responsibilities
Support quotation preparation for repairs and spare replacements.
Coordinate billing for AMC and service jobs.
Monitor service revenue and cost control.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / HVAC related field.
3+ years’ experience in HVAC service management.
Strong knowledge of AC systems, VRF, Chillers, Precision AC, Ventilation systems.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Computer knowledge (Excel, Email, ERP preferred).
