Job Purpose
To provide efficient back-office and operational support for insurance broking activities, ensuring accurate documentation, timely policy processing, insurer coordination, data management and smooth servicing of clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Policy & Documentation
• Prepare and maintain insurance policy-related documents.
• Check quotations, policy schedules, endorsements, invoices and other documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate with insurers for policy issuance and documentation.
• Maintain proper digital and physical records.
2. Client & Insurer Coordination
• Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, policy issuance and endorsements.
• Follow up on pending documents and requirements.
• Assist relationship managers and business development teams with operational requirements.
• Respond to routine client queries and provide required documents.
3. Renewals
• Maintain renewal records and renewal calendars.
• Send renewal reminders and coordinate for required information.
• Follow up with insurers for renewal quotations and policy terms.
• Track renewal status and ensure timely completion.
4. Endorsements
• Process requests for additions, deletions, corrections and other policy changes.
• Coordinate with insurers until endorsement documents are received.
• Verify endorsement details before sharing them with clients.
5. MIS & Data Management
• Maintain accurate client, policy and premium databases.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
• Track pending policies, endorsements, renewals and documentation.
• Ensure timely updating of internal systems/CRM.
6. Premium & Accounts Coordination
• Coordinate with clients and accounts teams regarding premium payment status.
• Maintain records of premium receipts and outstanding payments.
• Assist in reconciliation of policy and premium records.
7. Compliance & Quality
• Ensure proper documentation as per company processes and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and policy information.
• Follow internal SOPs and maintain high data accuracy.
Required Skills
• Good knowledge of General Insurance and Insurance Broking operations
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and email
• Strong documentation and follow-up skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple policies and deadlines
• Knowledge of commercial/general insurance will be an advantage

Preferred candidate: A graduate with 1–3 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance broker, TPA, bank or financial services organisation, preferably with experience in General Insurance.
