The Interior Work Site Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth execution of all on-site interior works—ranging from civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, POP, painting, and finishing tasks. The role demands daily coordination with contractors, vendors, clients, and the project manager to ensure that the project is completed with quality, safety, and within the defined timelines.
Site Location- Pune ( Maharashtar)
Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Monitoring
Oversee day-to-day execution of all interior works as per drawings, BOQ, and project timelines.
Supervise labor teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure workflow continuity.
Verify that all work is carried out with proper alignment, finishing standards, and material usage.
Ensure timely installation of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, ceiling, flooring, and painting works.
2. Quality Control
Continuously check workmanship quality across all trades.
Ensure adherence to architectural and MEP drawings.
Inspect materials delivered to site and ensure they meet approved specifications.
Conduct periodic quality audits and report any deviations for correction.
3. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with the project manager, interior designer, contractors, and suppliers.
Attend site meetings and update progress regularly.
Liaise with clients to address on-site queries and provide project updates.
Coordinate timely delivery of materials and track usage to avoid wastage.
4. Timeline & Workforce Management
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
Manage manpower distribution and ensure optimum productivity.
Monitor work progress and take proactive action to avoid delays.
Report daily progress to management with photographs and status updates.
5. Safety & Compliance
Implement safety protocols and ensure that all workers follow safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the site at all times.
Ensure all legal and compliance requirements (local site permissions, safety norms, etc.) are met.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site diary—manpower, material receipts, work done, issues, etc.
Prepare measurement sheets and assist in billing & BOQ verification.
Track and record material consumption and wastage.
Submit weekly site progress reports to management.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, civil finishing, HVAC basics).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (architectural + MEP).
Strong site supervision and team-handling capability.
Good communication, coordination, and conflict management skills.
Understanding of quality standards, material specifications, and finishing details.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, WhatsApp documentation, email communication).
Qualifications
Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical / Interior Design OR relevant field experience.
1–2 years of experience in interior project site supervision.
Experience in residential, commercial, retail, or corporate interior projects is preferred.
Work Environment
Site-based role (full-time presence required).
May require working extended hours depending on project deadlines.
Coordination with multiple vendors and labor teams.

Vendor billing verification and quantity calculation.
Maintaining inventory of tools and machinery.
Supervising installation of modular furniture, loose furniture, and fixtures.
Ensuring smooth handover and snag list clearance before project closure.
