Position: Junior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts based on client requirements.

• Prepare 2D layouts, furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, electrical layouts, and working drawings.

• Assist in preparing design presentations, mood boards, and material selection presentations.

• Take accurate site measurements and prepare drawings based on site conditions.

• Coordinate with the senior designer, site supervisor, vendors, and contractors.

• Assist in selecting and specifying materials such as laminates, veneers, tiles, quartz, granite, hardware, lights, wallpapers, and fabrics.

• Visit project sites regularly to monitor design implementation and execution.

• Support site execution and ensure that work is carried out as per approved drawings and designs.

• Assist in preparing BOQ, material estimates, and quotations.

• Coordinate with vendors for material samples, quotations, and delivery schedules.

• Attend client meetings and assist with design discussions and presentations.

• Check the quality and finishing of furniture, carpentry, false ceiling, painting, and other interior works.

• Identify site issues and coordinate with the senior designer/team for suitable solutions.

• Maintain project drawings, revisions, material details, and other project documentation.

• Assist in project completion, snag rectification, and final handover.
