NATURE OF RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE CARRIED OUT

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented talent to join our design and engineering team. The candidate will assist in the planning, design, and coordination of construction projects, ensuring that design specifications meet functional and aesthetic goals while adhering to regulatory standards.

1. Generating structural drawings of reinforced concrete, steel buildings, masonry & wood buildings and facilities.

2. Perform routine to moderately complex drafting, detailing to produce accurate drawings and plans necessary for fabrication and construction in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards and/or established practices and procedures

3. Coordinates with Engineers and Designers within office

4. Ability to maintain concurrent hours of operation as the Main Office in Houston

5. Prepare technical drawings, and construction documents.

6. Support in evaluating design proposals and providing input for material selection, layout optimization, and cost efficiency.

7. Participate in design coordination meetings with internal teams.

8. Assist in ensuring compliance with building codes, local regulations, and safety standards.

9. Contribute to value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality or design intent.

10. Maintain documentation and version control of design files and project specifications.

Required Skills:

1. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.

2. Strong computer skills, including Office Suite (MS Word, Power Point & MS Excel).

3. Ability to communicate effectively on Microsoft TEAMS or other internet meeting platforms

4. Proficiency in design software tools.

5. Deadline oriented

6. Basic knowledge of structural and MEP systems is a plus.

7. Understanding of design principles, construction methods, and building materials.

8. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
