Civil Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Review structural, architectural, and finishing drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

• Take responsibility for executing civil works as well as interior and exterior finishing activities such as plastering, painting, tiling, false ceiling, woodwork, and façade treatments.

• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and surveys to ensure alignment with design intent and technical standards.

• Assist in planning and scheduling all construction activities, coordinating civil and finishing works to meet project deadlines.

• Monitor and supervise on-site activities to ensure progress, quality workmanship, and compliance with design specifications.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely material delivery, work execution, and resolution of site issues.

• Prepare and verify BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications for both structural and finishing works.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality control standards on-site.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection records, and technical correspondence.

• Support project managers and senior engineers in resolving site-related challenges and driving project completion within scope, time, and budget.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, construction materials, and structural behavior

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, or other design/drafting tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

• Knowledge of surveying instruments, leveling, and basic project management tools

• Understanding of IS codes and construction quality norms
