Civil draughtsman

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting software.

• Prepare site layouts, floor plans, sections, elevations, and structural drawings.

1. Project Documentation

   • Develop construction drawings based on engineering designs and specifications.

   • Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions.

   • Ensure drawings comply with project standards and local building regulations.

2. Coordination

   • Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and project teams.

   • Incorporate design changes and modifications as required.

   • Assist in resolving technical drawing issues during project execution.

3. Quantity & Detailing

   • Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

   • Prepare reinforcement detailing and bar bending schedules (BBS).

   • Support material estimation and quantity take-offs.

4. Site Support

   • Visit project sites if required for measurements and verification.

   • Update drawings based on site conditions and modifications.

5. Quality Compliance

   • Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and meet company standards.

   • Follow safety and engineering guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software

• Good knowledge of civil construction methods and materials

• Understanding of building codes and standards

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Basic knowledge of structural and architectural drawings

Qualification:

• Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship

• 1–5 years of relevant experience (depending on requirement)
