Job Summary:
1. As an Associate Design Engineer, you will be involved in the design and development of products or systems, providing support
throughout the project lifecycle. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers to assist in designing, modelling, testing, and
improving products or systems while adhering to project specifications, standards, and timelines.
Responsibilities:
A. Product Design & Development:
1. Assist in the creation of detailed design specifications and technical drawings
2. Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to model and create prototypes.
3. Support the development of design solutions based on project requirements and constraints.
B. Collaboration & Communication:
1. Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the design meets functional, safety, and quality
standards.
2. Support the preparation of documentation and reports related to design specifications, testing, and revisions.
3. Participate in design review meetings and provide input on product improvements.
C. Quality Assurance:
1. Ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and comply with industry standards.
2. Follow proper documentation procedures to maintain design records, specifications, and revisions.
D. Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement:
1. Identify design problems and work with senior engineers to find solutions.
2. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design processes, tools, and techniques.
E. Design Support:
1. Assist in the design and development of valve products, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Design, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc.).
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Good communication skills for reporting and presenting design solutions.
6. Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.
7. Experience: 1-4 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the valve or related industry (e.g. Ball Valve, Butterfly Valve,
Gate Valve)
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
9. update the records as per ISO 9001
Audits - Customer and Internal:
1. participate and support customer audit and close open points in due time
2. participate management initiatives for 5S ‘, kaizen and other activities
