Job Title: Draftsman

Location: Chinchwad, Pune

Industry: Water Treatment / Environmental Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman to prepare technical drawings and detailed layouts for water treatment systems and related equipment. The candidate will work closely with the engineering and project teams to convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings for manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD or similar drafting software

• Create GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and piping layouts

• Modify and revise drawings based on engineering feedback

• Maintain drawing records and documentation

• Coordinate with the design and project team for drawing approvals

• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) from drawings

• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications

• Support site team with as-built drawings if required

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D)

• Knowledge of piping layout and fabrication drawings

• Understanding of water treatment plant components

• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Attention to detail

Qualification:

• ITI Draftsman / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• 1–3 Years of experience in Water Treatment / Industrial Projects preferred
