Job Description

We are looking for an AutoCAD Designer who can read architectural and facade drawings and prepare accurate material quantities, BOQs and estimation sheets.

Responsibilities

• Read architectural, structural and facade drawings.

• Calculate quantities of aluminium profiles, glass, ACP, MS sections, brackets, cleats, fasteners, sealants and accessories.

• Prepare floor-wise and elevation-wise quantity take-offs.

• Prepare BOQs, cutting lists and material requirement sheets.

• Calculate running metres, square metres, weights and numbers of individual components.

• Estimate material wastage and stock-length utilisation.

• Prepare system-wise cost estimates and rate analysis.

• Compare drawing quantities with site measurements.

• Coordinate with the design, purchase, production and site teams.

• Update quantities whenever drawings are revised.

• Maintain organised Excel sheets and estimation records.

Required Skills

• Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.

• Good numerical and calculation skills.

• Understanding of BOQ preparation and material take-off.

• Knowledge of aluminium glazing, ACP cladding, glass, MS structures or facade systems will be preferred.

• Accuracy, patience and strong attention to detail are essential.

• Candidates from Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Diploma or ITI backgrounds may apply.
