Taxation Executive

Job Summary

The Taxation Executive will be responsible for handling direct and indirect tax compliances, preparing and filing tax returns, assisting in tax assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws. The role requires coordination with clients, government departments, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tax-related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, LLPs, companies, trusts, and other entities.
• Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
• Handle TDS/TCS compliances, including return filing, corrections, and issuance of Form 16/16A.
• Assist in tax planning and advisory services.
• Prepare tax computation, tax audit working papers, and reconciliation statements.
• Respond to Income Tax and GST notices and assist in assessments, appeals, and departmental proceedings.
• Maintain statutory records and ensure timely compliance with tax deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients to collect required documents and resolve tax-related queries.
• Assist in ROC and other statutory compliances, if required.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
• 2 years of experience in taxation and compliance
• Freshers with strong knowledge may also apply.

Required Skill

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, and basic accounting
• Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, Tax filing utilities
• Familiarity with the Income Tax and GST portals
• Good analytical, communication, and client-handling skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments

Preferred Skil

• Experience with tax audits and assessment
• Knowledge of ROC/MCA compliance
• Exposure to accounting software Tally Prime.
