Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an Sr. Accountant to join our team at at Adi Corporation. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹15,000 - ₹28,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.

• Pass and verify purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and contra entries.

• Handle purchase entries, invoice verification and proper accounting documentation.

• Maintain and reconcile bank transactions and bank statements.

• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly.

• Handle GST accounting, GST returns and related compliance.

• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments and TDS returns.

• Handle Income Tax-related accounting and compliance activities.

• Maintain knowledge and compliance of Direct and Indirect Taxes.

• Assist in and independently handle finalization of accounts.

• Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance and other accounting reports.

• Handle Payroll Processing, including salary calculations and related accounting entries.

• Maintain employee-related statutory deductions and payroll records.

• Ensure timely recording and reconciliation of all financial transactions.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and other external parties whenever required.

• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and statutory purposes.

• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely rectification.

• Prepare regular MIS and financial reports as required by management.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable statutory requirements.

  Required Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting.

• Strong practical knowledge of Tally ERP.

• Knowledge of GST and GST Return Filing.

• Knowledge of TDS and TDS Return Filing.

• Knowledge of Income Tax and related compliance.

• Good understanding of Direct & Indirect Taxes.

• Strong knowledge of Finalization of Accounts.

• Experience in Bank Transactions and Bank Reconciliation.

• Good knowledge of Day-to-Day Accounting Transactions.

• Experience in Purchase Entries and Invoice Accounting.

• Knowledge of Payroll Processing.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Good command of MS Excel and accounting-related reports.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
