Senior Accountant

• Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) into accounting software like Tally Prime, QuickBooks, or SAP.

• Invoicing & Billing: Assist in preparing, issuing, and processing customer invoices and vendor bills.

• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify accounts payable and receivable ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Documentation & Filing: Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital records of all financial documents, including vouchers and tax records.

• Compliance Support: Assist senior staff with basic taxation tasks such as GST filing, TDS calculations, and gathering documentation for audits.

• Reporting Assistance: Support the preparation of monthly MIS reports, balance sheets, and income statements.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance is usually the minimum requirement.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Mastery of basic Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets).

  • Foundational knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, or QuickBooks).

• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and communication skills
