Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting business decision-making through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger)

• Prepare and review financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly)

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies

• Handle bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

• Monitor cash flow and manage budgets

• Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with auditors

• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances (India-specific)

• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management

• Oversee payroll accounting and expense tracking

• Identify process improvements and implement best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks)

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel
