We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support month-end and year-end close processes. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, compliance, and supporting management with financial insights.
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies
Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities
Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements
Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff
Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification
Experience in [industry, if applicable]
