Junior Accountant

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

1. Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.

2. Verify and process invoices, bills, vouchers, and payments.

3. Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.

4. Perform bank reconciliation and transaction verification.

5. Verify GST details and supporting documents.

6. Maintain proper filing of financial records and documents.

7. Prepare reports and assist in account closing activities.

8. Follow up on outstanding payments and account discrepancies.

9. Verify and update distributor and item master records; merge duplicate entries where required.

10. Attach dispute bills with corresponding corrected bills and maintain proper documentation.

11. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and use only the assigned Login ID.

12. Report accounting issues, discrepancies, or system problems promptly.

13. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and statutory requirements.

14. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
