About the Role

The Premium Basket is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good accuracy, and the ability to manage records efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

● Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping

● Handle purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries

● Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation

● Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers

● Prepare invoices, debit notes, and credit notes

● Maintain records of expenses, bills, and financial documents

● Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payment follow-ups

● Assist in monthly closing and MIS reporting

● Support stock and inventory accounting activities

● Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts records

● Assist Accounts teams during audits and financial reviews

Required Skills

● Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation

● Familiarity with Tally, Excel, and accounting software

● Good numerical and analytical skills

● Attention to detail and accuracy in entries

● Time management and organizational abilities

● Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Experience

● Experience in FMCG, trading, manufacturing, or E-commerce companies preferred

● 2–3 years of accounting experience

● Experience handling GST billing and reconciliations is an added advantage

Qualification

● B.Com / M.Com preferred

● Knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel

required Salary

● ₹20,000 – ₹22,000 per month (Based on experience and expertise)
